Defend Our Freedom to Share (or Why SOPA is a Bad Idea)

This TED Talk by Clay Shirky is the most elegant and potent argument against SOPA and PIPA I’ve ever heard.

Everyone should watch this.

The internet is doing a pretty good job of motivating against SOPA without my help, and my head is full of fucking mucus and I can’t sleep, let alone formulate my own unique and compelling argument against what is clearly dumb legislation, but this is just interesting, so watch it and maybe learn something.
